Kutchwork and Kantha hand embroidery on pure tussar silk

A varient form of this embroidery is also called Kasuti Embroidery.

The saree took a single artisan about five months to complete.

The fabric was first dyed in Coke and Beige and then, threadwork with White, Burnt Orange and Maroon is done on it - with faux mirrors.

The fabric and the work makes it a truly classy drape.
